SHORT PRAYERS FOR LENT

Connect with God in a deeper and more meaningful way with these short prayers as you prepare for Lent .

For Repentance: Heavenly Father, as I begin this journey through Lent, I humbly come before You, acknowledging my sins and shortcomings. Grant me the grace to turn away from sin and to seek Your forgiveness with a contrite heart.

For Spiritual Renewal: Lord, during this season of Lent, I pray for a renewal of my spirit. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and empower me to grow in faith, love, and obedience to Your will.

For Guidance: Dear God, as I navigate the challenges of life, grant me wisdom and discernment. Help me make choices that align with Your plan for my life during this Lenten season.

For Self-denial: Lord Jesus, during Lent, I choose to deny myself and take up my cross daily. Teach me the value of self-sacrifice and help me to follow in Your footsteps.

For Compassion: Heavenly Father, open my heart to the needs of others. May I be an instrument of Your love and compassion, reaching out to those who are hurting and in need.

For Humility: God of all grace, help me cultivate humility in my life. Let me follow the example of Christ, who humbled Himself for our sake.

For Forgiveness: Lord, grant me the ability to forgive as You have forgiven me.

Let go of any bitterness or resentment in my heart, and help me extend Your mercy to others.
