SOCIAL CONCERNS
Continuing our reflection on the Corporal Works of Mercy March / April - Care for Creation
When you think about it, our Lenten preparations show great care for creation. Lent is a time of preparing us for new Life, specifically a Life in Christ. It’s a time for prayer, fasting & almsgiving.
We clear out the old, unwanted and unnecessary debris from our lives, kind of like preparing our garden beds for a new crop of vegetables or beautifully blooming flowers to come, new growth that we will tend with care.
Care for yourself in the same way during Lent.
Prepare yourself to bloom with new Life in Christ.
You are His most precious creation.
