Men’s Group- Knights of Columbus                  

 

The Knights of Columbus is an order of Catholic men and their families, dedicated to promoting the concepts of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. The Knights are committed to families with many opportunities for family involvement, education scholarships, and a determined effort to aid pro-life activities and groups. The Knights defend and help the Church in many ways, and donate money as well as service to community projects. The SEAS Council meets on the third Saturday of the month at 9:00 a.m.

             Women’s Group- Marian Circle
 

The Marian Circle is a gathering of women who seek a balance in being Spiritual, Social, and Charitable. We meet monthly to offer our time and talents and to enjoy one another's friendship. All ladies of the parish are invited to join in the many projects and services taken on each season. The meetings take place the third Thursday of each month from September through May. Finance Council
 

The finance council acts as steward of the parish finances and helps keep the parish fiscally sound. They advise the Pastor on financial matters of the parish and are responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budget.  They also help set priorities for major expenses of the parish.

 

Parish Pastoral Council
 

Members are elected by the parish and serve a three-year term. The Parish Pastoral Council serves as an advisory committee to Fr. Ryba and works to develop goals that keep us
on the Lord's path while we fulfill the objectives of our mission statement. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Each meeting begins with a holy half hour of adoration. Parish Pastoral Council minutes are included in the bulletin so that the entire parish can be aware of the work they perform.

 

Plant Development
 

Plant development committee oversees the maintenance and future physical projects of the parish. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm as needed.



 

 

SEAS Outreach Society
 

 

The SEAS Outreach Society (S.O.S.) accepts donations from the parish and uses the money to help local families and individuals who are experiencing financial difficulties as well as helping to meet community and diocesan needs.

 

Second Harvest Food Pantry


The Second Harvest Food Pantry usually distributes food on the first Monday of the month from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. Recipients must be a resident of Columbia, Eaton or Grafton and meet federal low-income guidelines. Please call the church office for details.

Funeral Fellowship

 

Volunteers for funeral fellowship help to prepare and serve luncheons after funerals at the church. Volunteers also provide bakery for the funeral luncheons. Please call the church office if you would like to be placed on the "call list".

Columbia Food Pantry

 

The Columbia Food Pantry provides emergency food assistance as well as holiday baskets for local families. The pantry is supported by the Columbia Station churches. Call the church office for more information.
